Teacher and student experiences are unique experiences held outside of school hours in May and are a great way for students to connect with their peers and teachers and have FUN in a non-school activity!

Kindergarten: Ice Cream Social

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! Imagine being five, eating tasty treats and playing on the playground for an extra hour in this kinder-only special event with your buddies and teachers. Does life get any better? TWO scoops please!

1st Grade: Birdhouse Art Party

1st graders get to unleash their creativity in this after school art extravaganza!  Teachers will help them paint a beautiful birdhouse to take home. Light snacks provided.

2nd Grade: Brownies & Board Games

Board games and brownies at Bonny Slope, OH MY! 2nd graders will get to play a variety of classic board games in small groups with the amazing 2nd grade teaching team. Add in some brownies for a snack and this is one sweet treat of a party!

4th Grade: Pottery Party

Come have a blast with a creative and hands-on art experience! 4th graders will have the opportunity to learn how to make a ceramic creation from the 4th grade teacher team. Not only will they get the experience of creating something new with classmates, but they can bring the piece home to treasure for years to come! 

The clay creation will be fired in the weeks following the experience and sent home with some helpful tips and tricks for decorating and finishing the piece.
